As in recent years by this time NOVOVISIÓN conducted a solidarity campaign to settle the problems of vision to patients who, for economic reasons, are unable to access the services of an eye clinic in the first level.


To this end, the team conducted a NOVOVISIÓN twenty speeches for free and disinterested persons residing in the Community of Madrid (in addition to a dozen people in interventions of the Community of Murcia) to demonstrate an inability to pay. This action includes preoperative testing and any subsequent revisions. Specifically, we offer solutions refractive surgery (for cases of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism) in the area of Ophthalmology.




"Convinced that better health is better quality of life, NOVOVISIÓN seek to extend this possibility to those who can not access it," said Ramon Gutierrez, Director of the Center. As he adds, "we realize that to reach the stakeholders, we need the media, hence we request your cooperation, as well those in need can access the benefits of this campaign."


Requirements and selection process

Among the requirements that are demanded to solicit aid for refractive surgery, candidates must:


- Present at the clinic (54 Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, C / Jaime I, Murcia 2) documentation to support the economic difficulties for meeting the costs of these services (statement of family income)

- Photocopy of DNI

- Having more than 25 years.

- Living in the Community of Madrid or the Community of Murcia.

- Need any intervention that is not covered by social security benefits.


A committee composed of the Directorate of Medical and administrative NOVOVISIÓN evaluate the data provided by the candidates, giving special priority to the extent of the need for the services offered by this clinic and financial constraints of the stakeholders.


Applicants must submit documentation attesting to their status between December 29 and January 10 at the Paseo de la Castellana and 54 hours of 10.00am to 16.00 Monday to Friday. It is envisaged that the preoperative tests were conducted in mid-January to carry out the all selected at the end of this month or early February, in that day, NOVOVISIÓN open its doors to the press from the 11 in the morning and throughout the day.


In no event shall be exchanged by the interventions of its economic value or any other consideration. Guarantees the confidentiality of all information provided by applicants.
